Please find below the latest update from Redwell Primary School about Coronavirus (COVID-19).

July 2020

The Government is asking schools to prepare for all pupils to return full-time from the start of the Autumn term.

At Redwell Primary School we are very excited to say that we will be welcoming back all pupils, full time, in Year 1 to 6, into their new classes from 3rd September.

We must follow the advice set out by Public Health England (PHE) to make sure that we make our school is as safe as we can for everybody.

Essential measures include:

    • a requirement that people who are ill stay at home
    • robust hand and respiratory hygiene
    • enhanced cleaning arrangements
    • active engagement with NHS Test and Trace
    • formal consideration of how to reduce contacts and maximise distancing between those in school wherever possible and minimise potential for contamination so far as is reasonably practicable

We've had visitors of a different kind to school today

RaptorXotics came into school to see some of the children today.  Mr Sharpe brought some special visitors with him - a Hognose Snake, Hissing Cockroaches, Stick Insects, Tarantulas, Giant Land Snails, a Leech and a beautiful little Hedgehog were amongt the creatures that the children we able to hold and stroke if they wanted too.  Dave told the children lots of interesting facts about the creatures as he showed them around.
